Do not hang clothes over the radiators as this is a fire risk and may also damage the radiators and clothes. Instead, we recommend either using a drying rack or for items needed in a hurry, there is a laundrette on the High Street.
First, ensure the pull cord is turned on for the shower, then use the switch or dial on the shower unit. Please ensure the extractor fan is turned on (switch above door) when showering to reduce condensation and mould growth. With the switch turned on, the fan will operate with the light and will run on for a set period of time.
Please note that the shower is fed by mains water pressure and is not a power shower.
Hot water (excluding the shower) is heated by the water heater located under the sink. Here you will also find the power switch for the water heater (and a seperate switch for the washing machine). The temperature of the water is controled by the dial on the front of the water heater. Please keep the dial in approximately the same area as you found it to prevent scalding and unnecessary heating of water.
First, ensure the switches are turned on. These are located above the worktop on the wall. The hob is touch sensitive. Please ensure you use the extractor fan when using the hob to reduce condensation and steam.
Please bag up all rubbish and place it in the wheelie bins outside. Recycling consists of tin cans, glass, plastic containers, paper and cardboard. To make it easier and to ensure rubbiish is collected, we request that the recycling is sorted and placed into seperate recycling boxes, with cardboard being placed in the blue bag.
